Our Story

We are a group of artists that opened a printmaking studio in 1990 to begin working closely with important Latin American artists such as Leonora Carrington, Gabriel Figueroa, Jose Luis Cuevas, and Rafael Coronel, to create unique limited editions of their work.   Over several months we collaborated regularly and intimately with each artist to create a true representation of their work and artistic intent.    With Leonora Carrington, for instance, we visited her studio and was privileged to see her work process first hand.

We also worked with well-known Mexican icons, such as Gabriel Figueroa, the famous and prolific film maker and cinematographer.  As young artists, we learned so much about his methods and working process; it was a priceless experience and one we wish to share with others.

We have opened a new business, ArtSpace SF, to introduce these distinctive Latin American artists, some of whom we continue to have personal as well as professional relationships with, to the San Francisco community.

These culturally significant artists have exhibited at major institutions such as the Museum of Modern Art, the Whitney Museum of American Art, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the De Young Museum, Paul Getty Museum, Philadelphia Museum of Art, and the Centre Pompidou.
